Welcome to Ventura |
![]() BackgroundVentura started business during 1977 with the supply of oil-to-air oil coolers to the truck and bus industry. While the “Swirl-Cool” units from Hayden were very reliable and well suited for the automatic transmission cooling of the time, they became very popular also for hydraulic oil cooling applications. When retarders became popular during the early eighties, Ventura introduced the Modine “Albraze” vacuum brazed oil-to-air coolers to the industry. They were very well suited to the increased heat loads from the retarder type transmissions. A natural development for Ventura was to design its own range of “fan-oil-to-air” units for the hydraulic industry and also as lubricant coolers, which are used in large paper mills, steel mills, portland cement plants and similar industries. |
